If you’ve hesitated to join a group training class in the past, we’re here to prove to you what a great method it is to train and get in shape. We are big fans of group training here at In Motion Fitness, and here’s why:
- Group training is FUN! Exercise is hard, and with our busy lives, it’s easy to not want to put in the extra effort it takes to maintain a regular exercise program. The good news is, with group training, you don’t have to dread exercising anymore! Working out in a group is highly motivating and energizing. Classmates enjoy pushing each other and joking around during the process. You’ll be having so much fun socializing with your friends, you’ll forget you’re burning loads of calories. The distraction of friends takes your mind of the time, and the minutes fly by compared to sitting on an exercise bike watching the timer slowly tick down.
- Group training is motivating. When you work out in a group, you’re more incentivized to push yourself. You tend to do one more squat, one more push up, keep going for just 5 more seconds when you have others around you doing the same. This is a great way to push yourself and reach your goals. As you push your body to your limit, you make progress faster.
- Group training helps you make friends. It gives you the opportunity to meet other people who are working toward similar goals as you. When you rub shoulders with others who are also working to meet a fitness goal, you can motivate and encourage one another. It’s like your own built in support group to help you keep on keepin’ on!
- Group training mixes it up. When you do a group training class with us, you will always be doing new exercises and routines. Not only is this a great strategy to help with weight loss, but it also keeps your workouts interesting and fun. No more boring treadmills!
